Owlman Invincible Style
In this piece, I was working on a project to mimic the art style of an existing work of fiction. I settled on the Invincible comic series, where I was greatly amazed at how dynamic and dramatic a seemingly simple art style could be. I hoped to mimic that, so I began by working on sketches for potential character concepts. This evolved into a final design, in which I developed my first-ever character turnaround, before I finally created a full illustration of a mock panel for this character, which I dub simply as “Owlman.”
This is my final illustration for this series of works, and I am incredibly pleased to showcase it. It represents not only that I have an ability to create characters, which I have always wanted to do, but that I can conform to other art styles I’m not used to if need be.
